Berserker Option

I would like to propose a game option that has probably been proposed before in one form or another.
This is what one MIGHT call the "Berserker Option."
With this option, you can attack from a territory where you have ONLY ONE ARMY.
If you win the roll, your opponent loses an army. If it's his last one your army moves in leaving behind ONE NEUTRAL ARMY.
If you lose the roll, the territory you are attacking from goes to ONE NEUTRAL ARMY.
This changes the dynamics of play in many ways.
First, and most importantly, it provides the option of ending a hopeless game IMMEDIATELY, instead of slogging through several more moves/days to end it.
It's a way to immediately resign a game, as in chess, instead of playing clean-up for days.
The sheer volume of moves would on the site would drop dramatically. Game turnover would accelerate drastically.
Second, if you are going all out to win and fail, leaving you few armies, this can prevent the NEXT player from easily obtaining your cards and winning a game he would not otherwise have won.
There may be downsides to this. Therefore, I think it should be presented as an option, like the zombie nuke, and let people experiment with it.
My prediction is that it would become the norm, for many, if not most players.
I would love some feedback on this idea.

Auto attack would become doubly dangerous in this instance is my one standing grievance.

Everything else should play out fine and I'll support it but only if the screen turns a translucent blood red for the entirety of the game so I could feel like Flynn Taggart stumbling upon a bezerk power pack then splitting skulls all over again.

Interesting idea, I don't know if it has been proposed yet....

Good idea about being able to end yourself a game (if resign button is not done before).

About the spoils, I think it'll be the most discussed POINT into this thread.
You have to think, when a player miss 3 rounds, he's eliminated but his/her spoils remain on the board to be taken.
I think it would be the same with berseker, the spoils just not disappear!

I'm not sure about it, just my thought!

I think auto attack would still act normally / end at 3?

----If you lose...your army should not turn neutral...Your army should turn the color of the army/terr. you just tried to take over...You should be punished for trying such a thing...You took a gamble and lost...The one you attacked should be rewarded for stopping you...including you cards...You might force that player a trade in ,they didn't want to start their turn...:)
