Clan Forum link in interaction Menu w/ new post indicator

Hi Everyone,

Here is something simple that would prove very handy ... in my point of view

Clan Forum Link in the Interaction Menu

Concise description:

• Adding shortcut / link to the interaction menu to the clan forum
• This additional link / shortcut could also be declined for any additional user group a member is registered in/list]
  
  Specifics/Details:
  
  • One link per user group or forum.
  • Go directly to the (clan) forum
  • Show the number of unread post (like for the wall or Inbox)
  
  How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  
  • Save time
  • Direct information about activity and unread post
  • Support the clan forum dynamic
  • Support the multiplaform friendlyness

hope you guys see the benefits as well ...
I know there is already a script available for clan doing this .. but as a MAC OS X and IOS, but i cannot benefit from it, therefore this suggestion is supporting the multiplatform friendlyness of the CC

The OP mentions that there is a script, but requests for the integration anyway.

As far as the suggestion goes. The concept is simple, the implementation is not quite as simple. Doable. Definitely more doable than a large number of the suggestions here. Not likely to happen overnight. I imagine this would be a good suggestion for Guaranteed Implementation, when the next one rolls around (assuming you can drum up some support).
