The end of November is the end of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. If you live near an ocean, you have probably been affected by a Hurricane, a Cyclone or a Typhoon. Now is you chance to fight back! To counter the speed of the wind, we must play the Speediest of Games - 1 Minute Rounds.

Gonzalo was the largest of the Atlantic Hurricanes. It started in the Caribbean and cut a large swath of the Atlantic, eventually sending rain and wind to the United Kingdom.
Marie, the largest of the Pacific Hurricanes, hit Mexico and California.
Super-Typhoon Vongfong caused $48 million in damages, wreaking havoc in the Phillippines, Japan and Taiwan.
Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Hudhud caused damage in India, specifically Andrha Pradesh.

To sign up all you need to do is join and win at least one game started between November 21 and November 28 with the following settings:

Map: British Isles, California, Caribbean, Eurasia, Indian Empire, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, Taiwan(Greater China)
Players per game: 3+
Game Type: Any
Initial Troops: Automatic
Play Order: Sequential or Freestyle
Spoils: Any
Reinforcements: Any
Special Gameplay: Any
Round Length: 1 minute speed

Medal Criteria
You need at least 500 Points for the Medal

Tokens are awarded as follows:
20 points - Bronze Token - Winning a Freestyle Game
30 points - Silver Token - Winning a 3-5 player game
70 points - Gold Token - Winning a 6+ player game


The settings that must be present are British Isles, California, Caribbean, Eurasia, Indian Empire, Japan, Mexico, Philippines or Taiwan (Greater China), 3 or more Player, 1 minute rounds
Please double check and make sure you have all these settings set.
The other settings are open. Round Limits are not mandatory, but are recommended to make sure all games finish on time.

Wins will still be counted until November 28.

Notes

• Games must start between CC Time: 2014-11-21 00:00:00 and CC Time: 2014-11-29 00:00:00 to be considered for the Challenge.
• Any issues will be solved by me, [player]DoomYoshi[/player] and my word is final.

FAQs

Who can play a Challenge?
All challenges are open to everyone, although freemiums may have a problem meeting the game load.

How do we join?
All you have to do is a)create games that meet the requirements or b)join games that meet the requirements. They can be private, public or even tournament games. Team CC is not creating any games, the whole thing is done by users. There is a game-join link at the top of the first post.

What are the prizes?
For reaching the Challenge Goal you get one of the rarest medals on the site, the Challenge medal. Challenges only come around once, if you miss it, you won't ever have another chance.

For scoring the most points in the Challenge: 1 Green Conquer Star

For those who finish in 2nd-5th place in the Challenge and achieve the Goal: 1 Blue Conquer Star


When do I get my prize?
Soon after you meet the requirements!

How is deadbeating dealt with?
Please report deadbeats in your games, I will do a random check. Inventory items will stay, but medals might be taken away if the deadbeats points do not allow for a medal.

Rulings
1. Deadbeats will have entry points stripped.
2. Wins by round limit count as normal wins.
3. Games can always have round limits but they never need to.
4. Inventory relating to the challenge will vanish at the end of the year.
5. Bot games do not score tokens.

I'm not convinced this is a great idea. The "improved" servers still create lag for quite a number of us, so lots of speed games do not appeal. Plus, 3+ player games w/ 1min turns? Lots of deadbeats incoming.

Plus, again, whoever spams the most games and wastes the most time gets the best reward. Wonderful!

a 6 player freestyle game would give me 90 points?

1 minute speed never played a single game..takes me at least 3 minutes to take a turn as I watch that spinning wheel turning and several refreshes later I finally can end turn..Not much fun playin from China

You do not need one of each. We are busy working on the December challenge, so November will be pushed aside as a failed concept.

Btw I think the concept was good, maybe just lacking advertisement.

And maybe games should've been automatically created because most of the time clicking on "Join the game" gave empty page.
