I am announcing that after a tremendous 6 1/2 years [player]Night Strike[/player] has decided to step down as a Tournament Director. The tournament scene could not have become nearly as successful as it is today without his help and guidance. He has always stood up for tournaments and for the Tournament Organizers, so please join me in saying a big "Thank you!" Night Strike for all that he has done for the tournament community and for the site as a whole!!! =D>

Although Night Strike and I had our differences when I was a TD, he undoubtedly did a lot for the tournament community, so:

Thank you Night Strike! You were one of the longest-serving mods of all time and one of the most respected! I always trusted you as a fair and impartial judge in disputes.

Thank you for being so supportive when I was new. It was wonderful to be able to just send you a pm and know that it would get forwarded to the right person along with guidance about whet to find the answer myself.

Just one example of how you made life easier for people.

Tribute to NS:

You kept the ship afloat, steered it through calm waters and stormy waters.

You pretty much built the ship, and when your oarsmen were tired you kept your eye on them and jumped in to keep the voyage going.

Thanks for your massive role in the thousands and thousands of tournaments we have had as a community.
