Improve the CC Snap

Concise description:
  • With the new interface we now have a specific window with the snaps. We should also have a button "load entire snap" in the same way that the we have "load entire log" and "load entire chat" option for those two windows.

Specifics/Details:
  • For very long game with fog, you may want to go back in time and see the snaps at the beginning. Right now you need to load the entire chat, then find the snap within the chat, to see early rounds snaps. This is not very practicle when the chat contains a lot of discussion, especially in the case of team games.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • Make it easier to use the CC snap.

- This is a great idea! Loading entire chat to get to 1-4 snaps is a pain. Do- able within 10 seconds but if it could be made easier why not. G1 Donelladan ")

Why has this not been looked at or addressed? I was just about to start a new thread thinking this didnt exist already.

It is quite the pain to filter through all the chat to get to the different snaps of the game. I think the adaptation of "load all snaps" is important when scrolling through the plays.

The panel interface has a "Snapshots" tab which lists all snapshots you and your teammates have taken in a game, in isolation from the game chat.

It doesn't list all the snapshots, it only list the most recent one. That is exactly the purpose of the idea, to have an option to list all the snapshots by clicking on a "load entire snaps", in the same way that we can currently click on "load the entire chat" or "load the entire log".

Because right now if you want to check the earlier snapshots once they are no more in the snap tab, you need to look for them in the gamechat.

It does for me. Any snapshot that I do not see in that tab, I do not see in game chat, either.
EDIT: After a private conversation with Donelladan, I have realized that I also have this problem - my games just don't last long enough for me to notice it. :oops:

yes please let us have all the snapshots, the first ones are most often the most important ones. with the automatic snapshots you don't have them in the chat; so if you didn't use the manual snapshots they are gone. this is quite dumb.

ADENDUM!!! Maybe if when you took the "snap" it did the audio from the video... that would be CHOICE

i could maybe add snapshots as a filter in chatgloves. this would add the options to only show snapshots in chat
