Welcome to the second tournament based around the Great Community Map Project. I hope you will take the time to head on over and have a look. A lot of fun is going to be had with medals galore being handed out in competitions. 
Tournament format. Single Elimination. There will be three maps used this tournament.
These are based off the poll options in the
Community Map thread. (Go and vote!
)
Doodle Earth (Small Map)[18 territs]
South Africa 1885 (Medium Map)[50 territs]
Battle of Actium (Large Map)[99 territs]
Settings: Automatic, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, No Trench, Sunny, 20 Rounds.
This tourny will be open to all members, as long as one slot is kept open. (That means you freemiums!)
All games are 1v1'sThere will be two brackets of players, the first 16 in one bracket, the second 16 in another. Both brackets will follow this format:
Round 1:Map: Doodle Earth
16 players will be randomly assigned one game each. Winners move to round two
Round 2:Map: South Africa 1885
8 players will be randomly assigned one game each. Winners move to round three
Round 3:Map: Battle of Actium
4 players will be randomly assigned one game each. Winners move to semi-finals
Semi-Finals:Maps: Doodle Earth, South Africa 1885, Battle of Actium
2 players play head to head in a three game series, whoever wins 2 or more moves to finals!
Finals:Maps: Doodle Earth, South Africa 1885, Battle of Actium
The two winners or each bracket will play head to head in a
six game series, each map played twice! If a tie occurs, one of the three maps will be randomly selected and a seventh tie-breaker will be played
