Well i have the willpower to make a map and everything, but I dont have photoshop. Is there any way I can make a map without it?

theres a number of diffirent graphic producers. im not sure of which they are. but adobe lets you download a 30 day free trial which you could jsut keep reinstalling

its not the program, its the skill level. photoshop doesnt have a "create map" button. any graphics program has a sizable learning curve in order to be proficient enough to map a quality map. Photoshop has one of the steepest and is not recommended for beginners.

im a big time beginner and my portugal maps (on photoshop)coming along well ;)

however i do agree its extramly difficult. especially when it comes to working with layers

yes its difficult...But lpaying around with it helps alot and also asking questions from the more professional map makers like mibi and Co

the 1st thing thats you must learn is how to use layers. with the amount of changes the foundry will make you do u need to be able to easilt make the changes
