Maps on first post please!

Post by IronE.GLE »

It would be nice if everyone would keep an updated version of their map on the first post.

That is all.
There is no luck, only preparation and execution.

Alliances are for the weak, whimpering masses looking for someone to hold their hand through the storm.

Actually I prefer it if they tell you which page the latest map is on, in the title.

I prefer both. Within the posts makes sense of the suggestions and changes, but when there are many posts without an update I hate searching through the thread.

I really wish people would read the How to Make a Map thread and follow Step 3 in particular.
Step 3). Developmental Map Thread——Start a personal thread where your map can be discussed and debated in length by the members of Conquer Club. To start a new map thread, please follow these formal guidelines:
      • Subject:
        <Working Title> (describes map at a glance)
      • Body:
        <map image>
        <# of countries>
        <Comments about specific areas or general points of interest>
        <Links to any visual resources used>

Beyond that, I do like to see the most recent update in the first post as well as within the actual thread. All bases are covered then. It's also nice when cartographers list the changes made each update. I'd like to see a list of all changes in the first post under the latest update as well. That way if something has been changed and decided on people can quickly go and check before posting.
