Welcome Comrades to the 74th edition of the Dispatch
The Victorious Sully unfortunately went AWOL on us, so I'll taking on the mantle as Publisher for this 74th Edition of the Dispatch. Before his Disappearance, he fortunately managed to combine with Viceroy to churn out some intriguing insights in their take of Clint Eastwood's portrayal of the Classic.
We also continue with our series on Executive Interviews as I'm glad to see my name (among others
) mentioned in [player]Dukasaur[/player]'s Interrogation!The Viceroy of Strategic Services gives us a host of articles in commemoration of his 100th Game Completion, with special emphasis on SoC events, but also an interesting presentation by cms on Eurasia strategy, and a freestyle trench game where the strategic highlights of yours truly are side-sweeped in favour of the Triumphs of the Duk!
The rest of our sectons are also proud to unveil new reporters, as [player]woopintroysbutt[/player] gets ready to join the Tournament reporters next issue, while [player]nolefan5311[/player] and [player]Swifte[/player] hit the ground running as dedicated newscasters with features for Cartography and Clans respectively!
I must admit that DaveH's set of Excellance Spreadsheets leaves my mind adrift, but I can see how his Macro's should be a handy tool in any TO's Arsenal!
Ever wondered how Map names originate out of thin air? Well apparently 8 (since 1 wasn't enough) thoughts only needed grey matter from the fairer sex, but I must say it's a shame more people don't come up with AYBABTU more often. It's quite uplifting saying "All Your Base Are Belong To Us". C'mon, put some oomph into it!: All Your Base Are Belong To Us!!! All Your Base Are Belong To Us All Your Base Are Belong To Us All Your Base Are Belong To Us All Your Base Are Belong To Us Yeah...
And to wrap of our dosage this issue, we throw up some numbers at you, as we delve into Stat-land to look at Win Percentages of the Best (and Worst) Clans in CL4. A Mathematicians paradise as we all know numbers don't lie, unless you bring 8 thoughts into it!
Elsewhere, Mod-Bashing seems to be the prevailing theme on CC, I know my head is certainly taking a pounding!
