to clear things up a bit, these rounds are steps in the bracket. a 64 player bracket would have 32 games in round 1. that's 1 game per player.
round 2 would have 32 players remaining. so that's 16 games... each player having 1 game.
round 3 would have 16 players. so that's 8 games with each player having 1 game to play.
round 4 is the division finals. or quarter finals. this round will have 8 players. each player that makes it this far now plays 3 games against the same player. or a best of 3. the winner advances and the loser leaves the tourney.
round 5 now has 4 players. this is the final 4, the semi-finals. the division A winner will play 5 games against the division B winner. the same for division C and D.
