Just read the chat in a game I was in in the Conquer Cup tourny. Why is account sitting not grounds for being kicked out of a game if the rule says no account sitting

The last case of this I saw that was presented, the participant was not kicked out because it was the sitter that was no aware of the rules of the Cup. Not saying I necessarily agree with that decision, but that's what I recall.

I asked about this as well. Good to know I can save myself $5 in the future by not joining.

Ever since I saw that was a rule of the Cup, I knew this was going to be a problem. Sometimes I jump on to my friend's account when I notice he only has a couple minutes left in a turn. Or sometimes he might tell me to watch his games generally as he's not sure if he'll be back before a certain time. When I go to clear the games, I'm not going to be able to quickly tell if a tournament has special rules like "no sitting."

And to the OP, if you want this looked at as a C&A fill out the form correctly and resubmit. Your original report does in fact look more like a question, so the mods moved it to the right place. If there is a particular player and game that you are concerned about, then do what everyone else does: fill out a valid C&A report. It would be like me going to C&A and typing a report that says "I think some of the people that I play against are multis. Why are they not kicked off the site?"
