The Tea Party, which has justified its racism and violence in part due to the perception that Barack Obama is a huge socialist, were enraged to the point of having a stroke today when it was revealed that actually, if President Obama is a socialist, he sucks at it big time.

On the other hand, the Tea Party now has one less excuse to turn to when hating President Obama, further proving that they hate him on racist grounds.

On a serious note, there is a Cal Berkeley professor who has written and spoken a lot on how the right began to change language 30 years ago as a big part of their push to gain converts. I lost the links when I lost my old computer, though... and canot find them again.

Obama is a worse socialist than Stalin and Sesame Street COMBINED

If you have any kind of progressive tax system, the lower the overall GDP the lower the percentage of GDP you will receive in taxes. Obama has done stellar work at lowering overall GDP. Lower taxes as a percentage of GDP is (from his perspective) an unfortunate by-product of his quest to lower GDP and get more people dependent on government (which he has done very well at). This is why he is pushing to raise taxes. I'm sure if he could he would have a 100% tax bracket.

Exactly, which is one of the left's trick questions when addressing homosexuality. They try to play a semantics game with "when did you choose to be heterosexual?" This implies that homosexuality is inborn and can't be addressed or corrected through therapy. Barunt used to address this directly with evidence to the contrary, but all we would get is a bunch of sarcastic sneers and scoffs. Because after all, his citations were never as authoritative as reruns of Will & Grace. The same can be said of their use of the word progressive, and how they hop back & forth between that word and liberal.

Nope, no dice. In fact, you are just expressing more proof of the success of the right wing indoctrination.

If you say that homosexuality is a choice, then heterosexuality is, of course a choice as well.
But, see, you only like to play the game when it suits you... and that was not even a real attack. Just "turn about".

The right wing has been doing this on EVERY front. Its not "against abortion", its "right to life" (thougth NOT for the mother!!!!). Its not "death with dignity", its "death squads'. Its not "let's knock unions (initially.. now they don't pretend otherwise), its "promote family values", "support the free market". Its not "let the wealthy have whatever they want and take from everybody else so they can have it, its "no taking!". Its not "lets ship jobs overseas", its "support freedom of enterprise"...

Everything you spout shows how much you have been brainwashed into thinking that the right wing is interested in average people, human values... when in truth, they are out to concentrate wealth even more firmly at the top, no matter how much it hurts everyone else in society.

Reagain proved that "trickle down" doesn't work.. yet, here we go again with "support the job creators". Except.. the REAL job creators are those who buy things, the average people who don't have tons of money to invest, who go to work every day, volunteer in their communities and more and more are finding that they have trouble even paying their medical bills and mortgages, while the wealthiest keep getting wealthier and wealthier and wealthier.

The left, sad to say, has been asleep (or, taken the high road.. expecting honesty to prevail).

Obama doesn't suck at Socialism. He just happens to live in a country where the people of the Republic have a Democratic say...we could have either sent Obama a bunch of Democrats in approval of his policies, or we could send Obama a bunch of Republicans in disapproval of his policies.
