George Orwell's classic 1984 presented a world constantly at war with three super-powers of Oceania, East Asia, and whatever the Russia/Europe one was. Africa was the main battleground. I don't know if this is something anyone would be interested in doing or if it's feasible. Not sure how you'd do the bonuses, but it could be a smaller map with 4 main bonus regions (each superpower and Africa) or you could divide it further...
Just throwing it out there.

Not too dissimilar from the actual cold war.. Tbh I'd rather have a cold war map with nuclear research and such before a 1984 map. However a 1984 map would be cool if you could add in a more individual element where players can re educate other players, not sure how that would work though, but it. Would be cool.

It could be a pretty fun map, especially if you could some how replicate the random alliances that would shift on a dime to tip the balance of power. I've always liked the book, so I know I'd probably play on it.
