What is your religion if you have one?

Post by Skittles! »

Yeah, after all this argueing and such, I'm just curious as to what people's actually religion, or no religion, is.

So post away.

didn't pick any of your options...
I'm a Cathar. It was a religion that the Knights Templar and the church erraditaced in the first Century buy burning hundreds as Heretics, even though the two religions are very similar.
the Main difference is, I don't breed. I don't pray, I don't repent.. I just know that God loves me, and I will get to heaven, even if I defy the"church" or any of the bibles teachings.

Not fully sure doesn't mean your an agnostic. Agnostics are people who have made up their mind that there is no way of knowing, not people who have yet to decide...

I always answer this question: Satanic Buddhist

Anybody who has bothered to learn about those two bits of theology will see that they are very closely connected and have many similarities...

I read a book about that not long back - Labyrinth - it was pretty damn good!

Personally, I am a Christian (Protestant) but not as devout as I probably should be

I think Baha'i is a weird offshoot of Islam, in a sort of similar way that you might say Jehovah's Witnesses are an offshoot of Christianity. So, you'd probably say it was a type of Muslim. But I'm no expert. I tried looking on Wikipedia to refresh my memory, but the page was far too long and complicated.

Anyway, me=atheist.

Bahai is a religion mainly in the middle east. I'm not too sure about the exact beliefs or anything, but I do know they've suffered terrible opression under the iranian government. Not agnostics... anyway there's the little i know about bahai, carry on.

I dont belive in God.I think that basing your religion on a book that was writen thousands of years ago by a person who you have no idea was basing his information on is totally ludacrise. Also there is no relative evidence of a god/hell/heaven/whatever...exsisting or ever existing. So put one down for the Atheists.
