This is a Tournament Players Association Year 2(TPA2) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments. All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA2 events that will be announced each Monday. Check back on the TPA2 scoreboard in the Tournaments--> General Info forum to see how you're doing.

This will be a relatively straightforward assassin tournament where being assassinated gets you eliminated. Players will be randomly placed into groups for each stage and remain in those groups until the stage is complete. Each player must choose a home map. Failure to do so will result in not being added to the tournament. The map for each game within a stage will be randomly selected from each group's pool of maps. Having multiple players in the same group with the same map will increase the likelihood of playing on that map. The stages will be organized as follows.

Stage 2 (60 Players Remaining)
10 Groups x 6 Players
Lose assassinated player each game until 4 players are left.

Stage 3 (40 Players Remaining)
5 Groups x 8 Players
Lose assassinated player each game until 4 players are left.

Stage 4 (20 Players Remaining)
4 Groups x 5 Players
Lose assassinated player each game until 4 players are left.

Stage 5 (16 Players Remaining)
2 Groups x 8 Players
Lose assassinated player each game until 4 players are left.

Stage 6 (8 Players Remaining)
1 Group x 8 Players
Lose assassinated player each game until 4 players are left.

Final Stage (4 Players Remaining)
1 Group x 4 Players
Most assassinations across 4 games (one on each map represented) wins the tournament.[/spoiler]

1. Incorrect Assassination: If a player assassinates the wrong player, they will be eliminated from the tournament instead of the player that was assassinated.

[spoiler=Terms and Exceptions]

• Players will have 48 hours to join their games (from the time the message was sent). After 48 hours, they will either be eliminated or a reserve will be called on to take their place.
• Reserves will only be used for Stage 1.
• Ties will be broken by an extra game between the tied players. If there are only two players that are tied, the game will obviously be standard instead of assassin.
• In order to maintain fairness, I reserve the right to change any part of this tournament at any time.
