No kidding, haha. He pitched "well," but the player of the game has got to be Scott Proctor. Seriously, the guy has like a 6.00 ERA. Right when he came in, you knew it was over.

Not that I'm complaining. Boston is the best team ever, my ass.

He used 11 pitchers in the first 9 innings. Fucking ridiculous.

Oh well. Paps deserves to get raped tonight for his blown save. Next year he'll know better in this situation.

Another reason this sucks giant dick is because now when I make fun of Yankees fans for their collapse in the ALCS in 2004, they can come back with this.

Yeah, I don't even care if the Yankees win the WS. I would like to see it, but this is so sweet.

I'm gonna guess that it'll be a Detroit/Milwaukee WS.

This season has to be historic for the wild card...two teams that had substantial wild card leads coming into September and both losing it to another team in the last two days of the season.

I think someone said that the Red Sox collapse is the biggest in the history of the MLB?

It depends where you measure from. It's the biggest in September, but if you go back to August 25th (130 games played), the Cardinals were 10.5 out while Rays were 9 games out.

GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!!

f*ck YOU!

Go Phillies! Speaking of "Go Phillies," I have not watched any Phillies games in the last two or three weeks; I refuse to watch crappy baseball (except for, you know, that whole Phillies stretch from about 1988 to 1992 and then 1994 to 2006).

Rays use a 6 run 8th and a homer in the 9th to reach extra innings before Longoria's second homer ended it in the 12th. Two outs with the bases empty and Papelbon gives up a pair of doubles as Boston finishes September 7-20.

AoG... have you heard of "The Boston Massacre?" (1978)

Philadelphia's 102 wins is the best in MLB, but they may soon wish were facing Atlanta in the Division Playoffs. The Braves went 9-18 in September while the Cards were 18-8.

Epic Wednesday night. No clock to worry about but just tension filled pitch's. Baseball might be slow but in a tight game with everything on the line it's great.

Also Rays/D-Backs or Rays/Brewers series would own.

Yes, I'm not keen on facing the Cardinals.

That is awesome. Personally, I hope it's a Yankees-D-Backs WS. Yanks have been looking for revenge since '01.

Maybe direct your anger at the manager of the Red Sox...since they are the ones that chocked in September. Girardi owed the Sox nothing.

You would see a rare event if Mo blew a post season save again
