What happened to the Portal? I guess it did kinda seem like it's been inactive for a while, and with chipv's leaving, I assume that's why it is now left out of the Beta Brand post?

I've removed it from the post for 3 reasons:
1. As you said chipv is no longer interested in keeping it updated and alive. And considering that that portal is not hosted on the CC site but on his web space, he is free to do what he wants with it.
2. Few mapmakers use it and, must be said, we (CAs) rarely check if people use it. Again not being officially part of CC is hard to think to it as a mandatory thing.
3. I don't tell you...

Well, i don't know but i just accessed the portal and info was there. Maybe Sully has a secret theory 
Anyways, if chipv doesn't make it available, surely CC can host it.
And i think it should be continued as part of the mapmakers info for their maps.

Problem is, it's not up to date. I used to update it with all my map info for the first few maps I made, but since no one else would do it for their maps I figured "why bother".
