in round 5, he plays his set & plays on sao paolo & takes bogota to retake the SA bonus, but then, instead of just keeping his men there as a border, he moves them into bogota and attacks his teammate on mexico city and puts all his men on mexico city, even though his teammates control havana, new york, los angeles, and chicago, and already provide sufficient defense for that border. red then goes on to break the now undefended border of sao paolo.

so i let him know he misplayed and specifically requested that he move back to taking sao paolo, and that if he wants to fort the northern border he should fort his teammates, not attack them.

then, in round 6, instead of doing that, he deploys on mexico city and takes 3 territories from his teammates going after a NA bonus he can't even get because one of his teammates also has 3 on new york. he's acting like he's playing a solo game & just attacking whoever he wants to go after bonuses, and in the process killing his teammates.

he should receive a warning so he knows he's violating the rules, because he's clearly ignorant if he's not deliberately violating them.

Yeah sure he's not playing well as a teammate but there's no rule saying you can't attack a teammate in fact sometimes it's beneficial. I think you are reffering to the unwritten rule of SERIAL teammate killing which woiuld mean he kept joining games and screwing over his partners over and over just to be an ass.

Teammate killing for territorial advantage or cards is just one of the many aspects/strategies of this great game we play. Are you sure you weren't abusing him in game chat? Have seen people suicide on teammates when their team mates are being A Class knob jockeys to them. See you have already identified that yes he understands it is a team game(another all to common issue).

Me thinks you will just be advised to show more intelligence in team selection next time
