LOL Jesse, that's brilliant
I'm in love with my Wii, it's the best thing I've ever bought.
I'm in England where Sony wants us to pay almost $1000 for a PS3, while giving us less of a console than the rest of the world gets ( no PS2 chip in ours, just software emulation which only works on about one in 7 PS2 games) so I'm really really hoping they fall flat on their arrogant arse. It's STILL not out here btw. Sony are doing Europe up the bottom, they deserve a beating.
I was going to buy a 360, but I keep hearing that they have a habit of breaking just after the warranty runs out, so I'm holding off.
I think the Wii is the best console ever, its just so much damn fun.

PS3... Microsoft still hasn't made a penny off of X-Box or its games and is only in the industry to prove it can. and Sony makes better games, its developers push the envelope. MS just spends wads on buying up exclusives and making FPS after FPS. You'll never see an Okami or a God of War on X-Box untill they see the sales numbers and buy out the developer.
Religion and science both profess peace (and the sincerity of the professors is not being doubted), but each always turns out to have a dominant part in any war that is going or contemplated.

You think you'll see those sort of games on PS3? I really really doubt it. It's going to have the least number of users, and it's massively expensive to develop for. Nobody will take chances, it'll be sequels and Sony first party populist games like Resistance all the way.
Okami and it's ilk will move to the easy to program Wii (in fact, rumour has it Okami's development team already have) where gameplay and originality are what the user base expects rather than hugely expensive graphical eye candy.
360 is easier to program than PS3, and VERY easy to convert console code to PC code and vice-versa, so much more profitable for developers.
Wii will have this generations Nintendo gems, and third party offbeat genius like Ico and Okami, while 360 will have the best of PC games like Crysis and Half-life.. it's hard to see why anyone would choose a PS3 right now, apart from blind loyalty.
Meh, doesn't bother me, not my wallet being hugely overcharged.
If Nintendo can net some solid third party support they'll clean up. Problem is Nintendo fans are known to stick to buying mainly nintendo games, and there is little third party support. At least so the trend goes with the N64 and particularly gamecube. However, the Wii seems to have appealed to a far wider user base than the gamecube, the fancy gizmos and some decent marketing seem to have contributed to that. So there may be more demand for third party games. Only time will tell.
BTW if anyone wants to become wii friends and exchange miis and such pm me your wii address.

I like Nintendo but I think it's basically made itself a kids and novelty act for now. it'd be cool if it could go back to it's NES superiority days but it doesn't look likely. I like PC, AoE3!!!!! But i've just spent too many hours on Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto(before ms bought the ex.), Metal Gear, Tekken, Tony Hawk, Ridge Racer, And countless other titles to just be like , Ok Microsoft is throwing its wallet at the market and buying up all the next gen versions of PS2 games that cornered the industry last gen. Better get an X-Box, Nah dude, I don't care about the Negative publicity right now, i've played a PS3 and a PSP and the media has been shitting bricks over trite little issues. the consoles barely released, Dreamcast kisked ass out the gates and it was barely around for more than one christmas. I just hope when microsoft buys up all the developers and turns the Video game market into a monopoly like there OS monopoly, they keep the quality control up. Cuz if Sony And Nintendo do disapeer or become Microsoft Software divisions The only place you'll find a good game that isn't a FPS is Japan.
although for a long time i've been a sony follower through and through, i have to say, the xbox 360 is great value for money, has a fantastic lineup of games, present and future, (i can't wait for Halo 3!). At the moment, microsoft has the upperhand. But, the PS3 is absolutely fantastic, from what i've seen. The technology will last longer than any of the other consoles, with blue ray players selling for up to a grand, you could see the PS3 as a bargain. At the moment, the xbox 360 is top of the list, but in about a year the PS3 will dominate the market, with an awesome array of games and downloadable content. Plus my mate is getting one and we're going on holiday with it, i mean him.
well, thats the toilets opinion, got i'm flushed after that speach
oooh sorry about the last line, i know its bad but i couldn't resist!
