Welcome to mine and [player]Marshallbobby[/player]'s first tournament.

The Tournament
The CC Decathlon will consist of 10 events where players can pick up points as they win games throughout the events, and the winner will be the one with the most points at the end of the tournament.

The tournament will be broken down into two halves. After the first half (after 5 events), the field will be reduced from 32 participants to 16. If there is a need for a tie breaker, CC Points at the time of tournament initialization will be used (Higher wins the tie break). If there is a tie for first at the end of the events, a playoff game will be played between all the players that are tied for first to determine the winner.

First Half Set up
(Note: this set up is for the 32 player field)
Round 1 - 8 standard 4 player games (randomly selected using random.org) Winners of each game move on to round 2
Round 2 - 4 standard 1v1 games (randomly selected using random.org) Winners of each game move on to round 3
Round 3 - 1 standard 4 player game.

Second Half Set up
(Note: this set up is for the 16 player field)
Round 1 - 8 standard 1v1 player games (randomly selected using random.org) Winners of each game move on to round 2
Round 2 - 4 standard 1v1 games (randomly selected using random.org) Winners of each game move on to round 3
Round 3 - 1 standard 4 player game.

Point System
Round 1 Winners = 1 Point each
Round 2 Winners = 1 Point each
Round 3 Winners = 2 Points each

So basically, the player who wins the event will gain 4 points. The three losing finalists will each have 2 points from the event, and the losers of round 2 will each have 1 point, while the losers of round 1 will all have gained 0 points.

Event #2 - Long jump - New World
Event #3 - Shot put - Waterloo
Event #4 - 110 m hurdles - WWII Ardennes
Event #5 - Pole vault - WWII Poland
(Field cut down to 16 athletes)
Event #6 - High jump - Egypt: Upper
Event #7 - Discus throw - Wales
Event #8 - Javelin throw - Arms Race!
Event #9 - 100 m - Luxembourg
Event #10 - 1500 m - Route 66

Note: The first half events will all be sent at once, so only premiums please. The second half events will be run one at a time.

The game setups:
4 Player games - Auto; Flat Rate; Chained; Sunny.
2 Player games - Auto; No Spoils; Chained; Sunny.

Last rule: You must have a 97% Attendance to join
