Earthquakes cause devastation and destruction. I am OPPOSED to them.
Does anyone agree with me?

It depends on how many Communists they kill.
(waiting for comments on "consequences" + "personal responsibility" +"earthquakes")

the earth quakes... so what? On my planet, I control the tectonic plates by pushing them around with my electro-magnetic force fields. And it still quakes, but less violently.
I've never actually experienced an earthquake, and I don't think I want to. I hope those in Japan recover and no more devastation happens. Earthquakes are a scary thing and I praise the Lord that I've never been in one.
When the Haiti earthquake disaster struck, many people were hurt. But others were saved. One man had been riding an elevator in a Haitian building when the earthquake struck. He and several others were then trapped in the elevator and shaft. Instead of panicking and going crazy, he sung praises to the Lord and started praying. This inspired many of the others who were trapped there with him, who did not know the love of Jesus. They asked if they could be saved as well, and the man said yes, and a few people then knew the love of Jesus Christ. Their entrapment and conversion changed their lives. God used that one man to spread the Gospel to other people. The man probably didn't know God would use him for that purpose, but he sure carried it out well in the midst of disaster. We too, can be a living torch in this world and spread the Word.
I actually don't know where you can find a link to that article but it's probably out there somewhere. It's a good story. Sometimes something good can come out of something bad.

If you choose to live in a place where earthquakes regularly occur, it's your fault.
How's that?

Many good points were raised. I will be rethinking my position on earthquakes.
I am OPPOSED to train derailments. I can't see what the good or use of them are; does anyone agree with me?

Train derailments keep railway engineers on their toes. They also curb the population growth somewhat.

Slow down Dr Saxi. I am still on the train derailment thing. If it is a train loaded with victims for the nazi death camps and it derails in East Germany, and all the people escape, then it is a good thing.
I am totally opposed to AoG

Train derailments allowed many resistance fighters to resist Nazi-Fascist aggression therefore on occasion I am supportive of them.
