Take over the world (1v1 tournament) (WINNER: Splatsmash)

This tournament takes place on all the maps using Earth geography. All games will be 1v1 best of 3 until the final, which is best of 7. They will also be standard/sequential/escalating/chained/sunny. Signups open for 2 weeks.

To sign up: Post in this thread or PM me. You can choose your continent or let me do it. I reserve the right to juggle people around between continents to make sure the numbers are even, so join early to ensure you'll get in the continent you want.

Round 1 (win your continent): The number of entrants will be divided evenly between the 6 continents. If the numbers are right (4/8/16 per continent), we'll do a standard bracket per continent, otherwise it will be round-robin to determine the winner of the continent. Each game's map will be chosen by random.org from the list for that continent (below).

Round 2 (top two continents): 6 players (the winner of each continent). The players will play a round robin tournament against each other best of 3, with the maps being randomly chosen from below.

Finals (Take over the world!): The 2 players with the best records from Round 2 will play best of 7 on world maps (listed below).

Rules: There are no reserves, if your opponent misses it's an automatic win. I will send out invites and a PM to all players after the invites are sent. If your invite expires, you need to reply to my PM for consideration for a second invite (give me a good reason why you didn't accept). If the opposition doesn't join 48 hours after a game is made, it is a default win. People removed from my previous tourneys or anyone else that pisses me off is not allowed to join this tourney. In the case of a tie in any of the above rounds, head-to-head results will be used to break the tie.
