What's everyones favorite flavor! I'm speaking specifically about Maruchan Ramen noodles, but all brands count as long as its instant. For me its a close race between Shrimp, Oriental and Roast chicken..I believe Oriental wins

Also, Block noodles or the boring lazy cuped noodles? Inspirerd by my lunch today, Discuss!

My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE all types of Ramen noodles. I never loved them that much, but I could eat the chicken and did so a LOT back when we were just new to the military (and poor as hell). However, eating it that much really broke me of stomaching them...I can't stand them at all any more.

I like Mr. Noodles Oriental flavour also. I don't eat Chicken, Pork or Beef, but I always eat Orientals.

I don't eat them much anymore, but I used to like them a lot. I never really care what flavor it is, but I'd say my favorite flavor is beef. We like to eat them when we're sick because they help clear our sinuses up. (your head is a balloon, and there are sinus cavities in your head, that's why people can eat noodles and have it come out their nose, it's also why yours ears pop)

Chili Flavor...hands down my absolute fav:

Close second is creamy chicken:

I never make the soup...I only make the noodles and then I drain and stir the flavor pouches in. Most times I throw some Tabasco Sauce on it and always eat it with chopsticks!
YUM!

I can't eat it as a soup. I'm comparable to Woodruff here because we had them sooo much a couple years ago. However, if you take a bunch of packets and make an actual soup out of them (add mixed vegetables and stuff) it can turn out really good.

Back when I was REALLY poor, I would take a couple packets of the chicken flavored Ramen and cook it, drain the water, add some butter and the seasoning and eat it like that. It was actually pretty good. Possibly add some tuna for protein. Eating poor sucks.

Something I have discovered, if you like spicy foods, just add some tobasco sauce either into the bowl, or into the pan when making it and stir it in. Gives it a bit of a kick.

Hell yes. This is usually how I eat them, with a bit of sriracha hot sauce..that's good eatting.
Also the using ramen and adding veggies is good as well.. Maybe its just me but I haven't got sick of them yet, maybe I'm just lazy but ill cook up some of these instead of thawing and cooking a real meal if the wifes eating at work or whatever.
Those and jalepeno chimmichangas.

Ramen adjusted for USA. Sort of like Plaza azteca and taco bell are "mexican"
Of course authentic is always better

I love the noodles, but consider the packet to be poison. I will sometimes put half of it in the water while cooking the noodles, but most of that washes away.

rather off-topic, but one time I was making mac and cheese, and dumped all the cheese powder into the boiling pot before I drained it!
Then all the cheese drained away, and we ate bland noodles...

I have a sincere question for you shieldgenerator. Do you think much before posting away? Or do you just post whatever passes through that ol' head of yours?

Well mine brother whas in japan 4year, and he say that japanese noodles in our country can not compare with original, because these is to much diferent and dont have same taste like original japanese food. I try maybe 20 diferent specialities ( only forget to eat susi) and i must say that its not something that i want to eat every day.
