Most games at one time
I just started playing the game and really like it so I bought the premium. I am now currently playing 32 games at one time.
I didn't even know I was playing until I started counting. Half of them are world 2.0 so will take a while to finish but its still lots of fun.

"Hi my name is Crash and I'm an addict"
Don't know the upper records. However I am currently active in 41 games...
... and I am waiting for my turn in...
... all of them!!
which is why I really have to learn to manage my addiction and not start more. I am trying to keep it at around 30 but that lasted about an hour.
Hence I also understand why some people could quite easily have 120, 150 or even more active games.
I do have to see the missus, work, eat, sleep, study etc etc
cheers

I don't know how anyone could play a lot of games at once with the same map. I'd just get confused between them all

While I don't play nearly that many (more like 15 - 20), most of them are on the same map, and I don't find it to be very confusing at all.
The greasemonkey utilities described in http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8801 are very useful for keeping things straight.
Especially useful is the Internote utility that allows you to leave notes to yourself that are stored with each game.
Cheers,

i sometimes get sloppy, but its not the number of games its the variety...playing 50 doubles in a row is great...you barely have to think, but playing one of every type can sometimes make it a little hard to change gears for each type of game
but now im down to 20 active...my lowest since ive started...and it isnt that much easier, because so much time goes in between turns, you can lose focus also...
i guess im suggesting it depends

I agree. I usually plays alot of diffirent games and maps. And AA said: it is hard to have focus.
And with 63 hours work and 30 hours university studies per week. There are not room for anymore games in my life. Alas.

I was once in a chat with Twill, and I asked who had the most games going at once. Twill was all like, "I know... but I ain't telling!
" I said, "I bet it's JOHNNYROCKET." "Nonono," said Twill. "Not him. It was like 70 games at once." So I went and counted...
JOHNNYROCKET had 183 games going.
Twill didn't know what to say.

no one has mentioned this, so i figured i would: w/ the greasemonkey feature, you can look at the number of games anyone on here is playing (as long as they also have greasemonkey, i think). for instance, Zaw has 24 active games rite now. and cyberdan has 33. it's an awesome add-on; easy way to find people, too.
i think the most i've had at once is around 75. but that may be broken w/in a week.

Loved your Sig CyberDaniel.
I play my max 4, but I am afraid to bump up to premium because it will affect my points. I can focus on my games now and make clear and determined choices about game plan, and diplomacy options. If I had too many more I am afraid I might lose too much focus and be more average player.
Right now I run my max 4, and win 2 or 3 of those 4. If I had more My ability would be split by multiple games, thus lowering general focus. Lets make an algebra equation to explain
F-Focus A-Ability X-games being played y-total games played
(F/2x)+(A+y)= Talent
So the more games I have the more it devides my focus on each. Mind you F is not a constant either. Ability is a constant that is bonused by more games played, but isn't directly effected by current games being played. Unless of course you wanted to add a attrition of ability based on current games being played. Then the equation might look like this:
(F/2x)+((A+y)/.01x)=Talent
What are your thoughts on my alegebra represtentation of how people are effected by running multiple games?

that is true. Also, when playing doubles, make sure you are the same color in each game too. I cant tell you how many times I logged onto a game after 30 straight turns and forgot after I reviewed the board that I was now red instead of green
