In good news, however, Germany last month finished repaying its World War I debt. It was on the 92-year payment plan.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... z12b4AVC7iThe U.S. will continue, however, to hold 2/3 of Germany's national gold reserves at the federal bullion depository in New York pending the repayment of World War II debts and interest off debts, which may take 200 years or so.

There are many nations out there that don't hyper-inflate their standard of living to an unsustainable level with the idea they can do it in the short term as a strategy to bankrupt their ideological enemies before it comes crashing down in on themselves. According to that list, Mexico's debt is 177,000,000,000 or 1,646 USD per capita.

So I started reading this, and then I went to the wikipedia page, and started laughing my ass off. Do you see whats at the top of the chart? Here, let me copy it for ya:

Do you see that? The total debt of the world is 57 trillion dollars! Earth is broke! We couldn't get a loan at the open galaxy bank cause we are so broke.
Did you think about that? How the hell can the entire planet be in debt? Who are we in debt to? Have they discovered aliens? Or are you saying that we just owe each other money? You know what man, lets just call it even.
