Now that we got that out of the way, what is it? I'm not talking about two people falling in love or lust, i'm talking about a social phenomenon that i've noticed increasing in the past 20 years or so - even in rural Mississippi. I'm talking about young (mostly) white chicks that don't just mess around with a black dude or two, but have a marked preference for such over white dudes. I don't see young black chicks going after white dudes in the same fashion.

When my hero, Jack Johnson was asked this he gave what i believe to be the best answer - any other Smilin' Jack fans out there that are familiar with the quote?

Anyhow, i think it could be interesting to hear some theories and/or pertinent info on the subject.

i'll assume that most of the americans that post here are white. there lies your answer, girls want some fun, some excitment. not a mindnumbing conversation about fucking healthcare or glenn beck.

it's also a little taboo and dirty. girls like a bit of dirt.

as for white men going after black women. i've had a couple but only to see what it was like. i don't find black women attractive for the main part. there are some beautiful one's though (thought i'd get that in before i'm accused of racism).

Probably a good sense of humor and a good personality.

But is it really racism to find them less attractive? I find them less attractive, but that doesn't mean I hate them, its just my preference. It's like preferring brunettes over blonds, at least for me.

I went out with a black bird once. Every single black guy walking towards us clipped my shoulder with theirs, trying to provoke me into a response.

Fucking madness, but true. I finished it after a couple of dates before one of them stabbed me.

Don’t forget the vice versa (black males attracted to white females). I remember a very long time ago, while on the bus visiting Washington D.C. during my high school years, a conversation we had with one of the nuns. She commented on the number of white girls who see saw with black boys, and then she noted that you don’t see the same with white boys walking with black women. After we agreed she shocked us all with the following comment, “I guess we still have a long way to go.”

I won’t even pretend to tell you the why and wherefore’s. But I do have my own pet theories. These theories have been occasionally bolstered by personal evidence, but it’s still antidotal at best.

White girls, in general, are more socially liberal than their male counterparts; in fact they are generally more social in the first place. Thus they are more open to the idea of going across racial divides than boys of the same age. This social openness continues into adulthood. And since all girls love jocks and since black jocks tend to out-jock white jocks, there is a real attraction at this level as well.

Black boys, on the other hand live in a socially inverted world compared to white boys. Put simply, black women tend to be more dominant than white women. Thus for the generally non assertive black male, the more passive white woman may be more preferable to the aggressive black female.

I had a co-worker back in the days of college summer jobs that was like that. A hot (and I mean really hot) black lady would walk by and he had no reaction whatsoever. The dullest white woman passed by and he was like a puppy who just discovered puberty. Of course he was probably shier than me at the time and that’s saying a lot.

I have made love to many women of many different colors, black, brown, white, yellow, red. Sometimes all at once.

My current g/f, Esmerelda - as I have noted - is Native-American.

I have noticed that black women are much more sensual and responsive in bed. I also find them, generally speaking, to have better hygiene than white women. l also find any woman with darker skin to be more physically attractive, though that's purely a personal preference.

Being mostly black myself (my mom is 100% and my dad is 50%) I had lots of white girls make advances towards me in high school. Maybe it was because I played basketball and ran track. Of course, most of my school was white and blacks were probably only about 5 percent of the student body. While I'm not dissin' any white chicks I've always wanted to be with a black girl and married one. One white girl did tell me that she personally liked black guys better because they were more confident.

I don't have to worry about cheating on my wife cause whenever there's a white girl who checks me out she just gives them a look and they back off. Trust me, you guys would never want to piss off a black woman who's been cheated on.
