Um, i agree that it would be interesting. But cc members tend to have addictive tendensies so it might become an issue. Plus, i know there is a rule about no gambling.

If this option is implemented, I envision everyone who cares about points uses the 2x option every time, effectively making it irrelevant.

A "ZERO points" or Just for fun button might be good. It could encourage some of the higher ranked players to try other settings or play for fun against cooks.
The cook gains experience, while the general keeps his points and so could play games like 8-man terminator on a level playing field.

Which has been suggested previously and turned down for the thoroughly ludicrous reason that "then people could practice on maps and not risk points until they got good!". Like...big fucking deal.
