Gilligan Stepping Down as Director [Announcement 2/4]

Post by Night Strike »

Gilligan Changing Departments

I have the unfortunate duty to announce that Gilligan has chosen to step down as a Tournament Director. During his 18 months as either a Tournament Elf or a Tournament Director, Gilligan has admirably built the Tournament Hall of Fame through the explosion of new tournaments. He has been instrumental in making sure that each of you organizers and winners have had accurately labeled medals, which is not a quick and easy task. We will miss having him as a Director, but I'm sure he'll keep organizing tournaments for the time being. The good news is that Gilligan will not be completely disappearing from the radar: he has plans to work with the Entertainment Department to develop and implement events for all of CC. Gilligan will be staying as a Director to help get the rest of this series of announcements finished, but after that we will see what fun projects he has to share with the rest of CC.

We all wish to thank Gilligan for his dedication in helping making the tournament forums a better place for everybody. =D>

We will miss you as a director, but will embrace your new thoughts as an entertainer! :)
Good luck in your new position, if you accomplish even a fraction of what you did in your old position, you should be a hit! :)

Thanks for everything--I know I kept you real busy asking for privis and you always came through.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.
