Maybe I'm late in getting this but I just jumped to this browser from Firefox and it is screaming fast. I don't use plug ins so for me this is twice as fast, maybe more so for taking turns and browsing the forums. I recommend you try it.

I recommend you send all information about yourself to Google HQ directly to save them some time.

Indeed, they would take serious note of anything sent in that was signed off...Uncle Death.

I doubt "Uncle Death" is his real name, and if it is Google will probably already know.

I like FireFox, because it has AD BLOCKER and FLASH BLOCKER and SCRIPT BLOCKER. I hate looking at unannounced flashy annoying animations that are always trying to get your attention! I hate clicking on videos only to be forced to watch a frickin Cascade Dishwasher Detergent commercial! And before I click on video links, I like to see how much script there is before I decide if I should click it or not. It might save me from getting a really nasty virus. I don't mind FireFox's plugins because they help me ENJOY the internet the way that I want to enjoy it. Sorry, Google Chrome...I ain't sold yet.

Educated Guess - Google can use chrome to keep tabs on people and become a part of the big brother system (though they've stood up against the govt in the past). Better to stay with Mozilla Firefox.

I gave Chrome an honest try a few weeks ago. Tried to find the equivalent of my FF addons, themes, etc. It was faster, but in the end it didn't quite have the features I needed. That plus all the warnings about information privacy caused me to stick with Firefox.

Google virtually owns a quarter of the world. There invested in thousands of companies and own heaps of other software. Everytime you google something Google finds out something more. Google knows everything about us already even without having google chrome.

I understand the concern but there is danger going on the internet period. If you don't use add ons and want game speed just use Chrome for CC. Google may market the fact that you stink at Risk and like gaming but you can use Firefox for everything else. For what it's worth my IT guys here at my company say it is the most secure of browsers out there. These guys are pretty good.

Stick with what you like, I was just sharing what I learned.

I agree that Chrome is ridiculously fast, I just don't like the feel of it, at least not yet. I use it for some things from time to time though.

Have you been to a bed & breakfast with any of them? Don't go to england if you're planning it.

We're from Chicago, nobody scares us. Or are you saying they don't have beds big enough for all 3 of us to fit in? Are the English particularly small?

British hotels should be fine. There's some game going on at their B&Bs. You might have to muscle your way in if you want to stay at one.

Google Chrome is the most evil thing on the internet. I'll stick with Firefox.

Just an FYI for those of you that use Chrome more than other web browsers (I use 2 or 3 regurlarly). Chrome is in fact faster but turns out to be not such as advantageous as other browsers (such as Firefox, Safari, Opera - (Internet Explorer is the worst browser of all time no questions asked - never use it except for the first time you access the internet when you buy a new computer)) because of its extensive memory usage. In the long run, the more memory usage you use, the slower your computer tends to be. So, if after using Chrome for a while, and you tend to notice programs to be not as fast as they were previously, there is a good chance that is one of the reasons why.
http://dotnetperls.com/chrome-memory
That is just one example of testing done that shows the memory usage in various web browsers, Chrome nearly triples that of the next closest browser.

A cool fact you may or may not know about Chrome: Each tab that is open acts as if you have another browser open. You may have noticed this when browsing the web or doing whatever you do on the Internet through Chrome, that if a single page stops loading and crashes, all of your other tabs work fine. Besides its initially increased speed, that is pretty much the only advantage of Chrome, IMO.

I personally like Firefox because of its extensive add-on library (I can give you a list of which ones that I use which help make my browsing life a little bit easier if you feel inclined to ask) and because it is very customizable.

Of course there are pros and cons to every web browsers and you should use whatever one you like the best, but i just felt like i had to point out a fact or two. ;)

I love Chrome.
For those who are like 'ahh, no add-ons', there are add-ons. They're just called "Extensions".

True, but compared to Firefox, there are not nearly as many, despite more being added each day (to both browsers).
