Not Playing the Class Warfare Game....

Or trying to talk common sense to liberals anymore. I have determined that they just don't get it and most likely never will. They won't be happy until the government controls everything they say and do. I for one prefer the principles this country was founded on. Beck has it right: faith, hope and charity. The Progressive's (AKA liberals) are destroying this country. And they are a minority! How does that work? How does socialized health care get passed when the majority of Americans don't want it? HOW? There should be riots in the street!

I have decided to add all liberals to my block list in an attempt to keep the blood pressure down.

Thank you and good day.

Good day to you sir.

bedub says that liberals vastly outnumber conservatives. You guys need to get your numbers straight.

Is this going to be the same deal as with me, where you have me blocked when it's convenient for you, but I'm not blocked when you have something to reply to me with? Just wondering how it'll work, so we know in advance.

Well...there are no riots in the street. Guess that what you think the majority of americans want is not actually what the majority of americans want.

Suprise!

If "ze liberuls" are causing your blood pressure to rise you might want to go see a doctor.

Provided you can afford one, of course.

There is already civil unrest, even before health care was a dominant issue. Obama could not possibly piss off the majority of the country any more than he is. I think a lot of it comes from Bush screwing over the liberals so bad.

Now, it's revenge time. How conservatives feel today is probably the same way liberals felt about invading Iraq (even though most of them supported it) or at least how they felt when they finally got a clue what was going on over there.

I also detected arrogance in Obama's Fox News interview. What I got from watching that was a lot of Obama saying "Bend over Republicans, I'm doing you nice n slow." and also "Look into my eyes FOX, I am the one who is doing this to you." Not to mention dodging EVERY SINLGE QUESTION brett asked him.

I agree about it being there being an element of revenge to it, but its more than that. Liberals have been after this for the better part of a century.

Bush being elected was revenge for Clinton, Obama and Halthcare revenge for Bush...its tearing this country apart and now we on the right want to elect a hard right person as revenge and with healthcare being enacted its quite possible we will...

... A Libertarian president would be nice. Never going to happen, but it would be nice.

... <edit> Libs get their fun and cons get their personal liberties.

Jay: if you're not gonna listen to the people who disagree with you, or talk to them, then the debate IS over.

What, a century on, are you seeking to conserve? The ideas of people long dead? That's not conserving. That's mummification.

All they're going to do is argue with you over what the word liberal means. The more correct term would be statists, Jay.

You asked how a minority is able to get things done. In some cases, they've bypassed the legislative process and gotten the courts to rule in their favor. They know half the shit they want would never pass, this latest monstrosity being one of the exceptions.

Teddy Roosevelt was a Liberal and Nixon was just a fiscal disaster and NOT a conservative.

I don't think Ron Paul wants health care reform considerably more expansive and liberal than the one we just passed, like the presidents I mentioned. Although, given jay's odd infatuation with Dennis "single-payer" Kucinich, maybe?

Did you just define an 18 seat Senate advantage and a 76 seat House advantage as a minority? Bravo, sir.
