Not really. I went to college with a bunch of celebrities I guess. Met Natalie Portman at school (she went somewhere else). Some other famous business people I guess.

I went to the same elementary school as Frank Thomas' son. I actually met the guy, which was pretty cool. That doesn't quite count though, I guess.

Oh and I once spent a train ride in the same carriage as Sir Trevor McDonald (UK readers will know who this is) and didn't realise until we neared Paddington Station and some one pointed him out to me....at which point I called out "Oi Trev! Got any juicy gossip?"

I received, in return, a withering look as I exited the carriage...(I think I'm off the Christmas card list)

I not only went to school with someone..well semi famous, (sports) but later worked on his new house, and a few years later, my brother did also, but only out of coincidence.

There was someone on here who had a girlfriend who was friends with Hermione Granger.

During my 4 months in LA pursing my acting career I met and courted a handful of celebrities....I think I have Andy Dick's number here somewhere....

Bob Hannah & Rex Staten(on the track[practice week] at Mammoth Mountain MX in '92) Larry Roeseler(at the Virginia City Grand Prix in the late 80's[very cool guy])
Steve Lamson(on the track[practice] at Marysville, CA in '93[?]. This guy crushed my dream of going pro when I thought I was haulin' ass and he blew by me like I was a girl scout riding a pogo stick)

I think I was a junior. She was sitting at an outdoor coffee place. One of my friends said, "Is that Natalie Portman?" So, I walked over and said hi, asked her if she was Natalie Portman (yes). I asked if she was going to our college, she said probably not (I think she wound up going to Yale). I said something like, "well, good luck." She said thanks and that was it.

I once bowled with Dave Madden, the actor who played manager Rueben Kincaid on The Partridge Family.

It was a benefit of some sort, I even forget what the cause was (this was back in the late 90s), and Madden was one of the B-list celebrities who attended. Imagine my excitement when I was assigned to the same lane as Reuben Kincaid!

The other day, I saw Staind in the parking lot at Home Depot.

Their license plate was STAIND.

My sister rode an airplane with Andre the Giant many many years ago....poor bastard had to sit on the floor but he was apparently super cool ;o)

I have met and sold / given my product to some cool folks: Willie G. Davidson, Kyle Petty, Chris Cormier, Larry Spiderman McBride, off the top of my head......

Had beers after a concert with Arlo Guthrie's son in law who took me to meet him later....THAT was cool......

I went to the same high school as Jim Thome (well not at the same time as he did). His nephew sadly broke his neck at the end of my street when he jumped into a not completely full pool.

my mum went to Sunday school(church) with Lulu(singer of Shout).


I use to work with a lad who was in the Techno group 808 State, they had a couple of albumns around 89-91.
