The concept here is simple and basically follows the WWE Royal Rumble format.
The tournament will consist of as many players as we get signed up in 2 to 3 weeks or so.
Once we have the competitors, I will randomly assign a number to each of them, which will be the order they will enter the ring.
Game 1 will consist of the players with the lowest draw. The player that is assassinated first in that game will be out and then next lowest number will enter to face the remaining two men from the previous match. In other words, no more than 1 match will be going on at once.
All matches will take place in the Circus Maximus ring, which seems like the best map for a gladiator style fight.
When we're down to the final three, the match will be setup as terminator style and may the best man win.
Settings for all matches will be as follows:
# of players: 3
Game Type: Terminator
Initial Placement: Auto
Play Order: Freestyle
Spoils: Flat Rate
Fog of War: No
Reinforcements: Unlimited
This tournament is open to all, including freemiums, but if you're going to sign up please make sure you have a spot reserved for the game.
