Hello All,
I've made it to the final round of the Best Movie Ever III Tournament. The final round hasn't started yet. There is still one game going from round 4 but that should be done in about 2 weeks or less. You can see for yourself here: viewtopic.php?f=91&t=94023
My question relates to the fact that I won't be available to play in the final round. I'm going to be training with the National Guard for the next 2 months. The training is strict and doesn't allow internet use, cell phone or otherwise.
It's a winner take all tournament with 1yr premium as the prize. My question is can I offer half of the prize for someone to take my turns for me? I was thinking of advertising it in the join a tourny section of the forum, but wanted to ask about it here 1st.
I already asked the tourny director if he could postpone the tourny till I get back. He said to ask the other players. I haven't done that yet. If the answer to my question about splitting prizes is no than I'll ask.
Thx,
MrGato

Re: Tournament Prize Question
Dont think its possible to split a tournament prize or give it to someone else, as i tried to before as well and was not allowed. But im sure you could get someone to sit your account while your gone as there are some very giving people on this site.
I suggest making a thread in either the callouts or general discussion forum, or asking a friend on the site to fill your role when your gone. Best of luck.

Re: Tournament Prize Question
A purchased premium gift can not be split into smaller amounts. If the organizer has matched premium stored in their bank, they can split that. For questions about the Tournament Premium Prize Policy, check out the Tournament Handbook.
