Tournament Organizers [Social][Recruiting]

Tournament Organizers is a social usergroup which units tournament organizers (TOs) and its purpose is to have a positive effect on tournament world by guiding newcomers, sharing experience, running multiorganizer tournaments and with so much more. There are a few restrictions for being part of the group but they should be no stop to a serious tournament organiser.

Since June 2012, [player]Darin44[/player] is the elected group leader. Please contact him with your questions, requests, problems and ideas!

To be eligible for membership of this social usergroup, you:

1. Must have completed at least 3 tournaments
2. Cannot be under any bans - tournament, forums or CC (neither temporary nor permanent)

If you are interested in joining the group, please post in this topic. The group leader will allow you to the group as soon as he has confirmed that you're eligible to become part of the group.

I hope you won't go that way. Run them if you enjoy running them but not because of getting to the usergroup. If you have serious interest in keep running tournaments and joining the group then I'm sure things will work out perfectly

It means that you are not eligible to join the group because we'd like to see people who have already proven to be able to finish some tournaments. It's not difficult to start a lot of tournaments but finishing them is harder part.

Although, we are making exceptions to people who would benefit the forums.

I did receive a 3 month ban from organising tournaments because I abandoned about 3 or 4 but I am a huge tournament organising enthusiast. I am also helping organise a tournament with scipioafricanus1 as his mentor as it's his first tourney.

It took a few days because there are periods when I don't find time for forums every time and therefore fastest way to become the newest member of TO usergroup is to contact leader directly through private message.

Just to shed some light to the history of the usergroup then it was already created in 2007 by [player]Optimus Prime[/player] and since then it was lead by different Tournament Directors. Just lately the whole group has got a revamp with TDs deciding to give leadership to non-TeamCC members and we have a voting system worked out for that. Anyways, we are waiting for you, good luck in running your tournaments with success!

We don't have any qualification terms, we just take it case by case and if people have proven themselves in other parts of CC or in some other way have shown us that they are interested in being part of tournament world for longer then they are let to the group before finishing 3 tournaments. For example, no abandoned tournaments and several active ones which are ran in good speed are qualities that we look at.
