Reading a book is one thing, but understanding is another. I can kind of understand what muslims, especially int he uk, are going through. I am Sikh, and the ignorant minority put me in the same class as terrorist cus of how I dress. I haev many muslims friends and I understand them.

When you research someting in detail and understand what the writer is trying to say, you yourself can understand the situation and feel the emotions. I was not alive in 1939, but I still understand why the UK did what it did in WWII, and why men my age quesued up and offered their services and their lives for the country. I do understand.

Just because I have not physically seen it, or been there does not give you the right to say you know better then me or anyone else. Reperations can be found online from governemnt statistics and past releases. By looking at teh works of scholors and experts you can get a feel for what the place is like. Maybe you got lucky. You are living in a city, where natives may get extra treatment due to having on averge low levels of education and employment, but the natives who live in the reservation camps and in the midwest are still being degraded and treated unfairly. You have experianced the better side of it, but maybe not the true and majority side of it.

What I am saying is, unless you have travelled the USA and seen all the native conditions, how can you dictate to us what it is currently like in all of the USA?

You can hate a country, but you still have the right to live there... I am sure my predecessors hated England in the 60's when the racism was everywhere, but they stayed because the quality of life is good, but they hated the people. Its the right of people in any democracy and liberal country to live there, no matter what your beliefs are. Its what were fighting for now against the Islamic extremists.

Because I live in the state that was set aside for the Natives... I live in one of the WORST states actually, and, yes, the government gives aid to EVERYBODY.

Ok, I found some of these facts for you titanic, cause I knew that Britian and Canada in no way did more than the US.

Casualties:

US- 90,000

Britain- 65,000

Canada- 20,000

Germany-105,000

You AND canada combined didn't equal what we sacrificed at Normandy. LIke it or not, we were what saved your British asses from Germany. Though thanks to your RAF (which I have great respect for) you were able to hold them off until we showed off, I do not think you would've lasted much longer.

Secondly, China had been invaded by Japan!! They never mounted any real offensive against them. And the battles you are talking about are all at insignifcant colonies. We single handedly won the war in the Pacific. We single handedly defeated one of the power houses back then, while also saving your asses in Europe. I'm not saying that you guys didn't lose more than us, Britian sustained much damage during the war. I'm just saying we were what saved you in Europe, and who won the war against Japan.

Also like Anarkist said we have made many reparations to the Indians, and if you don't know that then you really are fucking retarded and need to go read a book or something.

Finally, I'm disappointed that so many American's today aren't proud of their country. Whether you agree with what we're doing today or not, you should always be proud of where you are from, and what we stand for, which is liberty and freedom to 3rd world countries around the world. Britain, France and Russia sacrificed a lot of men and lives, what if we had just laid down to the German war machine? You'd probebly be sitting next to a Germany owned continent, and who knows how long before they would declare war on you?

We helped you out in a big big way, and I think it does give us bragging rights. At least until you guys save us. Maybe WW3? Then we can be even. haha. And I know you guys lost more men!! As for the US in WWII thing, its not my speciality field really (and others argue it better), but I know a case of misplaced and ignorant American pride when I see it... How many casualties would have been spared if the US had joined the war when every other 'moral' country did? Face it, you waited until it was an economic and political necessity. You 'saved' us, but you could have saved us a whole lot earlier. Don't get all high and mighty. You also fucked over the rest of the world through the loans offered to rebuild Europe, virtually guaranteeing no chance of Europe developing into a hegemonic power to rival the US. We had no choice after the war but to accept those loans, but they were immorally high. You'd have left us to get invaded too if you thought it would be economically more beneficial. Nice one ally.

America did not want to go to war. Period. However, eventually it became evident that we had to.

Even with out the other issues it's one ugly beach to try and come ashore on.
