Let's get serious and actually talk important issues and not merely throw out insults.

Who are those that support Trump, so-called MAGA, Make America Great Again?

They support:

1) their country and believe that it still is a great country and can be even better.

vs.: The leftist believe that the USA has many sins (as does every nation and every person) and THUS deserves to be RADICALLY changed because of those sins.

2) Love their families.

vs.: The leftist believe that family MUST include LGBTQ++ who are not just binary (male and female, only). They want to distort the definition of family and want to break up the nuclear family.

3) Have a strong sense of faith about the Almighty, some sense of God in their lives and in the universe.

vs.: The left who are atheists.

MAGA folks believe that the USA is Blessed by God and is a special country, with many blessings and riches and resources provided to us by God. They believe that this EXPERIMENT, called the USA, which STARTED AND CONTINUES TO offer a democratic republic with Freedoms guaranteed by the Bill of Rights in the U.S. Constitution, is the best hope for the dignity and future of humans.

vs.: The leftists, who want to tear this nation apart and tear it down, and want CURRENT Americans to pay for the SINS of some of those in the past by paying a small number of people reparations. The leftists believe that Trump is an existential threat to Democracy. Very simply, that rationale is a pile of CRAP.

4) MAGA folks believe that the best hope for their nation are individual citizens with the freedom to work and offer goods and services to other via a system of a regulated Capitalist system.

vs.: The leftist, who believe that only the Government can "fix" things. They want to LIMIT personal freedoms of American because they do not trust the average citizen.

If that is what defines MAGA (Make America Great Again), then I will stand with them and be proud to be called a MAGA American. (In the Biden interview by Lester Holt of NBC, my wife and I reacted to one moment where we are SURE that Biden WANTED to say that "I want to make America Great Again" but stopped just short of that.

The leftist can try to stand and will be blown around by the winds of change.

Let's allow US citizens Make America Great Again. Let's get to work and stop sitting around criticizing and yelling at and insulting others.

Then, in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, the discussion was about the man killed: Father, fire fighter, protecting his family. He believed in (to summarize) Faith, Family, and Country (or God, Family, and the USA). So why does a guy like THAT support Trump? Because Trump also believes in God, Country, and Family.

Biden, in contrast, has a dysfunctional family and wants to "re-make" America" with his liberal-socialist agenda. I question Biden's commitment to his faith, especially over the issue of Abortion. His son Hunter is a total WASTE and a disgusting human being. His wife SHOULD have told Old Joe he was TOO old in 2020 and that he is definitely TOO OLD NOW, in 2024. Dr. Jill is the "Enabler-in-Chief" of Old Joe. Biden's policies are not good for America, and that does not discuss immigration, inflation, and foreign policy, ALL ALSO BAD.

The poll was commissioned by a California billionaire who doesn't like Biden or Harris. So it emphasizes there are candidates who are a couple points better.

So saxi's summary of polls (Kamala vs. Trump) shows I was right. 'nuff said, GaryD. According to most polls, Trump beats Kamala.

Once folks start to focus on Kamala, assuming Biden leaves the ticket, they will see that Kamala is incompetent, was a DEI/Affirmative Action hire, and does not deserve to be President.
