ok i have a problem i live in jersey(chanel islands) we got treated like shit in the war by the germans and i am scottish (we get treated like shit of the english parlament) who should i shout for.

Whelp was rooting for US today but great job Ghana. What idiot said they hadnt heard of tennis and golf outside of the US? I dont want to have to go all the way back to it haha. Me. If you watched the previous games, ie Ghana vs Australia, we were down a man for an hour and we still dominated the game,created more chances, came closer to winning and did not concede.

Well, both my teams are out (France and U.S.). I was able to catch the first half and the last 15 minutes of the second half, but wasn't able to see the U.S. goal and the 2nd Ghanaian one (of course...).

I think I'm going to root for Portugal now...

I didn't take too much notice of Uruguay until some random sports commentator last night mentioned how they only qualified for the 1930 and 1950 World Cup, but managed to win the championships both times.
Maybe they'll get a secret weapon to help them in the quarter-finals...

Seeing how France and Italy screwed up their games, I have a strange feeling that 4 South American countries will go into the semi-finals.
It sounds absurd, but its quite possible with Brazil's renewed performance (compared to their last World Cup, *sigh) and improvements from the other teams.
