There could be the ATAT's the rebel base with the tunnels. Echo Base could be able to directlyattack the atats because of the snowspeeders

Oceans of the World

There have been numerous maps on the LANDmasses of the world, but what about the oceans?
There are five+ "continents":
Arctic
Indian
Pacific
Atlantic
Southern
Pacific could be divided into 2 because its so large.
Atlantic could also be divided north/south.
This map would best be represented on a globe rather than a Mercator map, so I would suggest something like the wikipedia's image.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:World_ocean_map.gif
Another possibility is to invert all the terrain and make a mountain range out of the marina trench in the pacific, for example.
I'm not a map maker, but I thought the idea was cool, so if anyone wants to do something with this, It's fine by me.

That WOULD be pretty L337, but would probably also explode the game and a few third world countries.

If this sketching of a map is easy (I understand the XML explanations is pretty easy) I might even try the Festung Holland idea myself.
But I have to start that from scratch (no good map found on internet).
How long does mapmaking take you guys ?
The actual drawing that is (not the commenting time).

There should be a New York City map with the five boroughs. The two airports could directly attack each other and the bridges connecting the boroughs could be territories also and have there be a bonus for holding all of them.

How about this for a monster map. It has all of what middle earth has to offer and much more. Spoken of in the Silmarilion and encompasses numenor giving more territories giving people a game on the scale of world 2.1 and the tolkienesk views people love.
Let me know what you think should the elves ad men rise up and bring harmony to CC of will the forces of darkness destroy our fun.

unless your going to work no it yourself, post it in the ideas thread. But anyway. If i had a map of the country i could give a better judgment of weather or not i think its worth pursuing.
