I'm thinking of trying to figure out the CC Website, however it is real hard to lay territories without it being strategically horrable. I do have some ideas though.

Make this map!

Why isn't the South America map idea in the first post? Also, shouldn't it be updated to remove ideas that are already being worked on, like the Moon and the Periodic Chart?

The map is based on a game i play. The drawing is atrocious, but you can see what i am trying to draw. It would be a very much fighting game, assume it is for 4 people, but if you want to it can be for more, just means it will takelonger and people will die quicker.

here is the mpa and tell me whether it is ok, and how i can improve it, also the outer cirles inner circle has 4 sections, im not sure whether t have it like that ot haver it as 1 single piece..

Maps... for the FUTURE!!!

I had a few map ideas, but both require new rule implementations, so I'll just leave them here as examples of what could be possible.

First, about Atlantis, or Dante's inferno/purgatory/paradise, or Madison Square Garden, or an onion, or whatever the hell else comes in rings--the problem with these is that if you do traditional continent bonuses with the rings, then every territory is a border. So, we make players build "wedges" instead:
Image
This would require some "path bonus" XML, of course. The dilemma for the player is then, how many armies do I need to defend the first/second rings vs. how many can I spare for the third/fourth? Because if you lose the 4th ring your bonus goes down from 4 to 2, but if you get cut at the 2nd ring, you lose all bonuses entirely.

I bring up this next one for the sole purpose of quoting Monty Python:
Image
I'm not a programmer, but I'm guessing it would take substantial coding to make this one work. So I guess this is a way, way off in the future idea, if at all, but I think it would make for a fun time.

Intriguing idea you have there. Would be a challenge to play, but would throw up interesting defending tactics as you said.

Yeah but wouldn't there be a problem with starting off the game? Since you only have to get to the middle to win then what happens when people are randomly placed around there and stuff? And even if you take that out so you don't spawn there that only gives you a small zone in which you can have spawns.

That would be awesome! I loved that series and you could definitely do a lot with it!

garionoldwolf wrote:not sure if any of you have read the books, and I'm not sure about copyright issues about this, but how about a map from the book series by David Eddings called The Belgariad. Here's a picture of the map:
