Texas defeats Baylor on Saturday in 7 rounds. The game pitted coaching brother-in-laws but Home-court was too much. After the game the Texas coach had to rush his wife to the hospital were he became the Father of a power-forward. His new son; Caden, weighed in at 10.2 pds and 19.5 in. Both mother and son are doing great. To Celebrate the Texas team routed the Jayhawks in 3 rounds. With the new edition finally here the Texas coach hopes to continue the momentum heading into the conference tourney as they are on a 3 game roll.
Congrats to the Baylor coach on becoming an Uncle.

Cougs continue the late season run by blowing by the last place Huskies. Great way from Jon Brockmen to end his Hussie career! Cougs continue to press for a mid to high seed in the NIT. Is the late season run going to help come NIT time?

#19 Clemson "Fails to Execute," Drops Season Finale at Home to Eagles"You know what happens when you get cocky?" Clemson coach Aesop Jones lamented at his post-game press conference, shaking his head at the Tigers' 8-round demolition at the hands of Boston College. "Your team fails to execute. You take things for granted that you shouldn't. You lose your focus and you get run out of your own damn building."
With the Tigers' five-game win streak snapped, all eyes turn to Charlotte as the ACC tournament looms large. Can they turn it around in time for the Madness? Will Jones cut down the bomb hanging over center court instead of the net? Find out next!

UConn finishes off their regular season with a road upset of #17 Pittsburgh in
Game 4172439. Coach geigerm sounded a bit relieved after the game. "They had a big stack of armies ready to do some damage after the first round, so we rolled the dice--I mean, intensity cubes--and tried to take out that big group, and things worked out in our favor. Kind of like hitting a 3-pointer from NBA range with a hand in your face. But I shouldn't be using college basketball analogies when talking about Conquer Club."
"I'm happy to finish the year on a 2-game winning streak with a .500 overall record," the coach continued, "but we've got some serious work to do. We know our next loss ends our season, and we're not happy about it. Hopefully our last two games are a sign of things to come."

Portland State has lost six of its last seven after an embarrassing 5-round home loss to Montana to end the regular season. The one-time Big Sky leaders are left hoping for a #4 or 5 seed into the conference tourney now.
Coach flex has decided to eliminate two scholarships from his program, using the freed up $$$ for a "recruiting" trip to Hawaii in hopes of re-energizing before tourney time.

Flex-
maybe this was covered before in the 50 odd pages of posts but are the dots next to certain teams names in the team listings representative of a projected tournament spot?

No, those were teams to be reserved for returning players or players with rank of Sarge or higher. The tourney guesstimate would be in bracketology, which you'll find throughout the later stages of the thread...I think the last one appears in page 46 or 47?
Of course much can change with the conference tourneys coming up.
