Re: Isle Cruise (7x7 windmill) 7-6 One person late for Ireland

Post by PaulusH »

Things are running rather well
Some games finished very fast (Galapagos, Madagascar, Ireland), while the British Isles take a long time as planned
In Australia one game is taking more time then estimated, but don't worry there are still some moves there :P

I will not be able to update the score next week
All the games are started some time ago; so this will have no real influence on the development of the tournament :ugeek:

Re: Isle Cruise (7x7 windmill) 9-10 last group on last Isle

Post by PaulusH »

Ok this cruise is nearly finished :D
There are still three groups that are active on two different Isles O:)
But two of them are there on their own cost now, see Game 5391454 & Game 5281502 =D>
Also the last group has the intention to come to some peace agreement and stay for a long time, see Game 5439554

With the maximum of staying 50 night on an Isle our company had the intention to get the groups of the British Isles in time. However with all those groups stay for long visits on other Isles as well we are happy that we made it a general rule. Otherwise our travel agency might have gone bankrupt in these hard times 8-[

Hm still waiting for the last game to reach round 50 :D
Basically nothing happened the last 20 rounds
It is waiting waiting waiting. That is ok: the idea of the last isle was to find peace

Thanks for putting this tournament together, Paulus. I'm glad to have the win, but I feel a little unworthy, since I came in as a reserve.

Don't worry, you are my first reserve who was able to win a tournament
Most of the time players that are in the tournament direct from the start have a better understanding what is needed to win :P
Having one reserve to win a tournament shows that it is possible
