I just won a huge 8 player escalating USA game. I was probably in 5th place and I turned in and cleared the whole map in 1 turn! Turned in 7 times. It was amazingly epic and I got a few lucky rolls to help out. I used similar strategies in this game that I learned from classic shapes teaching.

Edit: Won a 7-player game and gained 100 points. Now I am a sergeant.

better to have fun than a good score imo

I've gone from private to corporal. I was in a seven player game and attempted to clear the board....succeeded on 2 and failed on the third player and someone else cleared the board. However, I learned a lot, and still came out 58 points up so am very happy with cooking classes

Find a good partner and play some double games, make sure to do what they tell you (they know what they do, they have learned it the hard way!) and make sure to know why you are doing the move they tell you to do! I have gotten a lot of points in team game, little at a time ( I played with a Major most of the time so points aren't going up fast... but they do go up!)

But you have to be dedicated to learning and make sure to do what they say even if you think otherwise... you can suggest, but if they say no, make sure to acknowledge...

Hope for the best... I am lieutenant now... will be retrograded soon (some games to loose) but keep up the good work and the faith in your teachers here! I lost 4 games before making any points and then winning 2 big one that shoot me up the stellar +200 pts, so, it works!

that is what i like about term you can get points even though you lose. Which means you are having fun also.
