This time please leave government, regulation and in fact everything else to the people with a clue. k tks.
One would like to think we'd have learned from the laissez-faire government of the 1920s, exactly what it brings. But oh well.

As an aside, I think that we (the US) owe a lot to the minorities we've discriminated against (whether it be slavery, mass murder, or simple prejudice), and that whatever comes out of the current economic turmoil we need to hang onto social security and affirmative action. There are hardly words that can describe the debt we owe non-whites in this country.
Seriously, go stand in front of a train. Or in the freeway. Or walk off of a bridge.
There is no, repeat, no excuse for your behavior.
So, if I said that all women should be legally obliged to give birth (c-sections don't count) to no fewer than three children by the time they reach the age of 22, would you bestow upon me the privilege of driving that train?
Well, I'd take the train over the freeway, as public transportation is good for nature. I have the sudden urge to inform all of you that I think that all guns...no, anything that can be construed as a weapon...should be banned. Take, as an example, baseball bats. You could kill someone with one swing of those. Why is it that we are so obsessed with sports involving violent collisions? If we removed projectile, sharp, and blunt weapons from society, there would be no way to kill anyone! Besides, the only good sport is football (not American). I think that the main reason for this collision thing is male aggression. We should perhaps encourage more people to be gay.

You know what we should we stop killing? The trees and animals. In fact I say all developed countries should immediately logging forests or hunting any kind of animals. Developing countries such as India and China should be able to continue to do so until they tell us that they are in fact developed.

That sounds a little inefficient. Maybe we could let the United Nations decide who gets to log and hunt.

That would be a good idea. And that doesn't look to do much in retrospect. Maybe it should be made illegal for developed countries to get oil. We really should just use renewable resources

And that only when it doesn't have any impact on the ecosystem around those resources. Sometimes our country's actions are so
arrogant.

Because he has, or rather, is living a life and unborn have yet to live (they are alive, but they have not "lived", saavy?) and nobody ought to joke about babies dying. Nobody. I do not care who says it, it is just plain wrong. Period, end of discussion.
It is, to some extent, admirible that you would defend someone against a perceived belligerant. However, I cannot commend you for your choice in "client" as it were.
If murder is appalling, equally so should partial-birth abortion be. Normally, I'd say all abortion is wrong save in the gravest of cases, but destroying fetuses is unthinkably monsterious.
So Fridge has no excuse. None what so ever. I don't care if he was joking, I do not find it funny. It's like laughing at holocaust survivors, it's just not cool.

No, I do not understand.
You have waffled your way around the point.
The point is, you are telling someone to die. If that person died, just because you wanted them to, how many people would that affect? Friends, family, colleagues.
So I'll say it again. How is killing a fetus before it is "alive" (you said yourself, it is not yet alive in the human sense) any worse than killing a fully grown adult, presumably with a job, family, friends etc.

I suppose you don't like seal cubs either?

I don't really see the problem with seal-clubbing myself.
Not only is the use of seal-pelts no worse than the use of cow-hides for shoe-leather; but the manner in which the seals are killed is swift, efficient, more cost-effective than cattle culling, and 100% environmentally friendly. Also, the seal-clubbing industry provides many Northern communities with their main sources of income, and as such banning or curbing it would be economically irresponsible.
So no, I don't particularly like baby-seals as compared to other animals, and I see no problem with the continued yearly harvesting of their pelts, i.e. seal clubbing.

It is unfair, to him (especially that late in development, when they are for all intents and purposes, human beings. Newly born or still in the womb, it is the same), that they should be denied that right. And since this other guy is advocating it, he is a monster equal to Hitler in JR's eyes.
