Good idea with the new scoreboard but u should explain it better.

I think the search on the scoreboard should be improved so you can search for country, rank, clan, games played, etc.

A scoreboard based on country would be interesting, each country could be rated on the average score for the players based there, this would provide a nationalistic element to the site. By using an average national score, it wouldn't matter about population or how many players came from each region, one player or a thousand, any country could be top. Would be interesting to see which nation was CC champions.

yes, that would sound interesting, If I want to know what place I'm in for the entire country, I can't really imagine doing it in a non-tedious way

This is another one of those suggestion that everyone agrees with, but will never happen for some odd reason. Good luck with getting this anywhere, it is a good suggestion.

I don't know what it's like for other countries, but in the dutch forum, somebody is maintaining a list of all dutch players... of course it takes a lot of time and it's only updated once every weeks...
A computer could do that so much faster. Just buy a new computer @ 1000$, program for one hour (lack makes 200$ per hour) and there, you have a perfectly cool scoreboard for just 1200$
In return, I promise to buy some CC poststamps

Tho I am far from the savviest computer person on the planet, I imagine that one of the reasons for the scoreboard being the way it is is that it takes far less processing power than a sortable scoreboard would.

Re: Sortable Scoreboard *Pending*

Post by shearer »

Has anything been decided on this? Does pending mean that it's being considered, or that we will see it in an update in the near future? Even if it is deemed not doable due to too much data to sort through every time someone clicks scoreboard, how about having a top 100 on each of the diff categories or something and posting it somewhere? I think it would just be neat to see at least once.
