If it's not a matter of post count, then WHY THE f*ck DOES IT MATTER????? The forum IS STILL THERE! You can STILL POST! The ONLY people this affects is the people who were posting just to raise their post count. If that was your sole motivation for posting, then you're SOL and really, you're not going to get any sympathy.

And if anyone wants to spam in other forums, then you'll be getting a nice PM from a mod.

it matters since their are people who DO care about post count. And they will start going into other forums.

but why cant IK posts count toward your post count? There is just as much spam there as anywhere else? I really dont understand why people said it couldnt count...

exactly, I like to know what my post count is, and I may care, but that doesn't mean I'm going to spam just to achieve a high post count. I post only when I feel like posting, to input something, not to raise that number up 1.

Guys, if you don't have anything to contribute to the thread, don't post.

You wanna know what the problem is? People playing mafia and people regularly posting in IK are members of the community. Those forums create a sense of community and people know each other and etc. By doing this you are saying these are not important you should not do this and it detracts from cc.

I won't post in IK anymore. Small protest yay!

Without the fun on IK and forum games CC will lose members for sure.

definitely, Da Gip even said that the money he spent on premium membership will now be spent on strip clubs

Here's a suggestion that I think will decrease spam by a great deal:

Don't show post count in the avatar space.

I believe that the incentive for people to increase their post count is because it is shown in their avatar space in every post they make. I'm not saying we should get rid of post count altogether (I did consider it..): you could still find someone's post count in their Profile. You simply won't be confronted by it every post you make. Posts in IK could go back to counting again with this change, because the spam would substancially decrease anyway.

Rebel, quit spamming the same thing in every thread. The mods have already said they tried something along these lines and couldn't because the programming required was too hard and would mess up the forum code. Remember the last forum crash last time they tried to give php3.0bb? This is probably what caused it...... On another note, the mods have made their decision and if they feel the need to oppress one aspect of their community then whatever.... its just a pity that they need to be so petty and the relationship between their most active forum members and the administration has deteriorated so much.
