Well that's a good reason. Forget policy & experience, as long as a candidate makes you feel good you should vote for him.

Actually 48.3% voted Democrat. 50.7% voted Republican.

Did I say they didn't agree with policy?

I was pointing out that the reason Obama gets so much attention is because he is a good speaker.

Actually 48.3% voted Democrat. 50.7% voted Republican.

Honestly, who cares?

No, why would you? The test is to illustrate my point.

He's a good leader, that's what we as a country need right now. Besides, do you have anybody better? It's essentially down to him, Clinton and McCain. The choice should be very easy.

Ah yes, one can't forget the 6% average per state he gets. Very significant.

Well that's no suprise.

What you don't understand however, is that many people do see a reason. Obama is a very gifted speaker, there is no doubt about that. He can make people feel good and inspired. He's a demagogue.

The media is making his blackness into a big deal, but they make it out like people are not agreeing with his message. They are. Fifty percent of the USA voted democrat in the last election. That means fifty percent of america voted for fucking John Kerry! To say that all the support for Obama is merely because he's black is just fucking stupid.

I've taken an internet test to see who agreed with me on the most positions, and guess what? It was Obama! I bet the test had accounted for me wanting to be pc....

He is a bad speaker, listening to one of his speeches is like listening to G-Unit. He just keeps on going and going, even when everything he says is retarded, but he says it with enough confidence that stupid liberals zone out and start thinking he makes sense.

What does he plan to do in Iraq? Oh, that's right, pull out troops every month while keeping the country stabilised. But wait, it's barely stable right now, so how is taking troops out going to help? He never elaborates on how he's going to do any of his shit and only makes vague comments on what his platform is even about.

The only candidate that I think is worse, is Ron Paul. But that's not saying much, as Ron Paul is a senile 80 year old, who wants to pay for things with gold nuggets instead of real money.

Actually, Dino basically defeated his own point in that paragraph. Obama is a very gifted speaker. You don't have to be right to be a gifted speaker, f*ck Hitler ,which you can't refrain from mentioning, was a gifted speaker.

You don't have to agree with Obama to recognise he is charismatic and shit. I don't like anything Mike Huckabee says, but I recognise him as a good preacher.

Correct! Being a Good Public Speaker is NOT the same thing as being SMART. People think George W is a moron cause he has HORRIBLE public speaking skills. Oh well. I'd rather have a smart man with bad public speaking skills than a moron who speaks exceptionally.

So it appears we agree he has good public speaking skills. Now, is he intelligent?

Well I believe someone who is good at public speaking is certainly intelligent, but intelligent men can still make horribly bad decisions or hold twisted world views. You have to look at his policies and his beliefs, they're the important ones. I don't doubt that Obama can follow through with what he believes in, but the question is whether it will work in the end.
I think it will.

I believe that his idea of at least putting an end to the war in Iraq (and actually focusing on the terrorists in afghanistan) is certainly a good idea. The whole war on terrorism thing was supposed to be about terrorism and not dictators with fictional WMD's. The war in Iraq has lost most public support and most people believe it was a bad idea from the start.

The top priority should've been to finish the fight in afghanistan.

Alan Keyes is probably 4 times more intelligent than Obama but dems wouldnt vote for him because hes not good looking enough (i guess). I actually liked and respected Keyes but Obama? uggh!! after i heard him liken "Illegal" immigrants to the european immigrants of the 1800's i've come to realize this guy is way to simplistic in his thinking. lately his platform has been that He's the candidate with the least experience? Wake Up People... The Emperor has NO CLOTHES!

We all know why the young democrats like Barack........ Because he's Black! They look up at him with their little sheep eyes and think wouldn't it be NEET if he were President! He'd be our first affirmative action president! NEET!

Yeah. It's clear that the european immigrants only came to America to get a better life and escape the poverty and oppressing government in their country.

Not a chance in hell. The two have NOTHING to do with each other. How many morons get up on a soap box and spew out endless reams of shit? Millions.

How many highly intelligent people can't even hold a conversation with somebody they don't know? Millions.

I Said they wouldn't Vote for Keyes because He's NOT PRETTY....

They came here for all the items you mentioned, and we welcomed them.
They also came "Legally"!!!! It's not that difficult to comrehend.

Different time - Different Rules.

That last part...no.

Seriously, pick one. McCain, Clinton or Obama. It shouldn't take much more than a brain cell to know the smartest decision.
