Hmmm. The three of us with the bye in weeks 7,8,9 seem to be at an innate disadvantage when determining the 4 to advance.
Yes, we could have LOST the game as well, but without the opportunity to earn a win...
Just a thought.

This was something I thought about for a while, and came up with no 'perfect' solution for this problem. I thought about various ways to go about this, like having some of the competitors play as Takeda's character, giving forfeit wins, flipping a coin, but none of these sounded that good to me. Upon this, I decided to be neutral and give byes.
That's my reasoning.

Noted. I can come up with no perfect answer either. The top two I came up with were: forfeit wins; and invalidating ALL of Takeda's games, pulling them from the records.
Both unsatisfactory. I'll abide by your ruling without protest, just wanted to make sure you'd thought about it.

May I offer another suggestion? I am Takeda Mizuki's father and am (due to the impact CC was having on his grades) partially to blame for his inability to continue in this tournament. If it would help to maintain the integrity of this tournament (and in keeping with the type of plot device often employed in anime) then I would be most honored to play in his place. I humbly await your decision...

Ah, the son had to withdraw, now the father steps forward... yes, very anime-ish.
pogophiles, my old nemesis.... we meet again!

Indeed we do, Kinnison. Now all I need is some ancient wrong to be avenging to preserve my family's honor. I'm guessing that our past battles in the "You're Eliminated" tournaments are not sufficient...

How about you introducing me to the Rail USA map... now one of my favorites? We can say I usurped it from you, or possibly stole an ancient technique of your clan?

BWAH-HA-HAHA-HAHA

That was just fine... as long as we're not doing, say, Excel Saga. In which case, you CAN'T go "over the top" enough, TRUST me on this.
