I think the dotted line -> which is actually a Dashed line -> are the fronts for the 2 armies... i.e. one side of it is "Blue" and the other is "Red"...

(Replace blue and red with army names!)

C.

Yes they are, these represent how many terittory german army manage to conquer.
What you mean with that(Replace blue and red with army names!)

It's at the bottom of the screen when you're typing a new post - or quoting a post...

It doesn't appear when editing (sadly).

well you added your signature

I think that green line for bombardment needs something else so that colourblind people can tell where it is. Maybe make it dotted or thicker than other lines?

Does anyone else think that the SDZ and SLZ connection should be made more explicit?

What I mean, qwert, is that I think somewhere on the map there should be an explanation that says, "SDZ and SLZ connect." Or, something similar / equivalent.

How do you mean explicit? But i put explanation on map, look down in unit legend, and you will see explanation for SDZ and SLZ.
If people can not understand in one box:
"SDZ-Supply Drop Zone"
"SLZ-Supply Launch Zone"
then i realy dont know what to do. :?

explicit means - fully and clearly expressed or demonstrated; leaving nothing merely implied

so, instead of just saying SDZ is the Supply Drop Zone and SLZ is the Supply Launch Zone

An explicit explanation would add that SDZ connects to SLZ

I just get the feeling that many people could see the SDZ and SLZ explanation but not get that they actually connect. Right now it is implied. Perhaps this is quite logical to assume, but do we want people having to assume things like this or do we want to explain them directly

Well i have same situation in WWII WESTERN FRONT and i must say that people very good understand what these means.
If you understand these, why you think that other people not understand these?

How would a supply launch not connect to a supply drop? I'm not understanding that complaint. :?

Unless you didn't understand it fully the first time you saw it I don't see any reason to add more text about it.

I agree with Edbeard that the connection between SDZ/SLZ needs to be more explicit...

Perhaps changing that bit of the legend to:

SDZ - Supply Drop Zone
––– - German Attack
can bombard but not conquer the SDZ.
Only Allies can supply units from the
SLZ - Supply Launch Zone

What do you think?

Well in Western Front you have only Launch Area, and Target Area, and nobody say that not understand these, here its same, you have only one SLZ(supply launch zone)and only one SDZ(supply drop zone)in one legen box,and if people can figure what these mean,i will be very supprised.
But if you have better simple explanation, who will stand in these box(i dont have many space left)to people much better understand, then i will apply these and put on map.

If i separate SDZ and SLZ like you sugest then people will be confused more.

How about this then:

SDZ - Supply Drop Zone
SLZ - Supply Launch Zone
––– - German Attack
can bombard but not conquer the SDZ.
Only Allies can supply SDZ from SLZ.

This is about the same size as the text you currently have...

bombard-annihiliate,these is word, what people sugested me in previous map,and i apply for these map to.
maybe:
SLZ-Supply launch zone
SDZ-Supply drop zone
----------------------------------------------
German attacks can annihiliate these unit
Allies only can supply from SLZ to SDZ.

Thanks to Mbenn,Edbeard and Coleman who give hes sugestion, but in last 6 days i dont get more opinion for SLZ and SDZ issue.
Cam on where is a Mod squad for these part of Map foundry :!: :?:
Its ridicylos,i get most little sugestion and opinion.

These is mine 52 post, and i get maybe 5 post opinion, rest is question abouth Marking symbols and History.
People dont give me any sygestion(except Edbeard),so i dont know what to think:
1.People is satisfy with map,and dont see any big problems
2.People dont interest map.
