How and why did you travel to 170 different countries?

How?
Boat, plane, car.

Why?
Various reasons.

I must say the scariest trip I've had was leaving Bushehr's airport on my way to Bahrain. Crazy Persian pilots. :D

Did you prefer Cuba or Libya?

Are those two also on a list of countries Americans are not allowed to enter according to american law, or just a random pair you figure he missed on his massive list.

Also is there only 193 countries in the world? That sounds low to me.

Bhutan is the most isolated and most politically isolationist country on Earth.

Only 12,000 foreigners visited Bhutan in 2006, nearly all of whom were Indians.

Djibouti is very small and very barren and just receives very few visitors. Nearly the entirety of Djibouti's foreign visitors are Ethiopian shepherds.

And yes. I think there are only 193 totally independent, mostly-uncontested states.

Like to see the passport that has all those stamps in it. :)

Oh, and props for hitting the countries with ongoing civil wars (Somalia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Sudan, East Timor, more I missed / don't know about)

CIA.

Well I'm Scottish (and I've been all over the shite hole with my work - and I mean all over it, up to the bloody Shetlands [nearly Norway] the western isles [even the wee ones where there's one ferry a week], the highlands [teuchters, the lot of them], Edinburgh [*shudders*] and offshore on the rigs [just like prison...but by the sea!]).
been to:
England (a.k.a poofland [not meant to be homophobic, its just a fact that's all]),
Northern Ireland (the British part of the tattie munchers),
Jersey (in Channel Islands - not really a country but Stopper will show you his diagram *again* if we start to argue about it too much...)

France (my birds from there),
Italy (when they won the world cup!)
....Vatican city.....(he he he they all count!)
Germany (it smelt a bit)
Austria (beer's is fantastic!)
Portugal (worked there and also incidentally been many times at my mate house in Praia de Luz (where the wee lassie went missing - nothing to do with me though I hasten to add)
Belgium (briefly)
Spain (including Majorca, Minorca and ...Ibiza *waves glow stick full of e's*)
Holland (nuff said really!)

and the only time I've been out of Europe: Cuba!

Want to go to:
all those commie countries people are clinging 15 hours to the underside of a lorry to escape from
Would never go to:
The Great Satan (except Vegas, and new york maybe)
