Tigard and Grants Pass went into overtime in a wild week 4 matchup that saw an 18-round and a 14-round map.
The Tigers won 5 of the first 7 maps to take a 17-3 lead into the fourth quarter, but Grants Pass found the end zone twice in the fourth quarter to force overtime. The Cavemen tied it up when RB1 scored on 3rd-and goal from the 1-yard line with 1:03 to play.
Tigard moved down the field and tried for a long winning field goal, but it came up short.
Grants Pass knocked through a season-long 43-yard field goal to start overtime, but Tigard answered with a pair of long runs before the QB found WR2 in the end zone with a short touchdown pass to win the game 23-20.

Barlow pulled away in the 4th quarter to beat Sherwood 19-3. Both offenses only mustered field goals going into the fourth quarter, but Barlow won 6 of the final 7 maps to finish with a two-touchdown flurry in the 4th quarter and was able to run out the final four minutes of the game. Tigard wins a close one 17-12 over Franklin, as the special teams made the difference. The Tigers booted an early 41-yard field goal and the Lightning missed a pair of PATs.
Franklin earned a final chance taking over on its own 37-yard line and picking up a first down before a series of incompletions ended the threat and Tigard was able to run out the clock.
Tigard's QB completed 17-of-27 passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns.

Week 7 games have been sent out (first half). Sorry for the delay.
Now is the time to make your push for the playoffs. Top 2 teams in each division advance, along with the next four best records league-wide. Division winners get a first-round bye.
I'll keep pushing hard through the weekend to hopefully get all results tabulated through Week 6, so we are up to speed for this final push.

Week 5 final. North Medford 20, South Salem 17.
The Saxons got a 38-yard field goal for a 17-13 lead as the clock ticked under 6 minutes to play, but North Medford took its next drive 10 plays for 72 yards, ending in a 7-yard TD catch by WR1 for the winning score with 1:36 to play.
North Medford's QB completed 15 of 22 passes for 164 yards and that winning TD pass.
Also in Week 5, Lakeridge knocks off Central Catholic 29-18 in a battle atop the City Division. Lakeridge won 6 of the first seven maps to take a 19-0 lead into halftime -- a lead that would grow to 22-0 before Central Catholic got on the board in the third quarter.
The Rams put together a 3-map win streak that led to three straight scoring drives, but the Lakeridge 'D' came up with a goal line stand late in the game forcing a field goal and protecting its lead. The Pacers then added a late touchdown after picking off a Central pass down the stretch to secure the victory.
The City Division has three 4-1 teams at the top.
